Attendees: Amanda King, Michele Arigot, Scott Elliott, Sara Heilig, Angie Francom, Jenni Taylor, and Brittany Mcconkie,
Counselor Report:
- Registration went really well with Powerschool. Our Registrar, Wendy Kenney, did an amazing job at making it understandable for parents and students as they registered for next year.
- Career day is coming up on March 20, 2024. 7th graders will be in sessions with presenters. 8th graders will be participating in Reality Town , 9th graders will be doing job shadows.
- This doesn’t impact the students' grade, but is a way to gauge students' knowledge. The students can get an F in the class, and pass this test and receive credit for the class.
- Edgenuity is being used to help credit recovery for students. This is being held every quarter to help students keep on top of credit recovery.
- The suggestion was made that when an email goes out from counseling, please be more specific in the title so parents understand what the balance of the email is and who it is for.
- The suggestion was made to help teachers understand how to use PowerSchool and Canvas and more effective uses of these programs.
PTSA Report:
- The board has been nominated.
- PTSA have been selling concessions at home games this year. Things have gone well, but this may not continue next year.
- The suggestion was made to get information out to all people who are members of the PTSA, so that everyone is aware of what is going on. Also so that all members can be involved.
- The suggestion was made to send an email to
