What is FBLA all about?
Back in Business Baby!
Come join the coolest Business Club at Orion! We meet once/month on the 3rd Thursday of the month to team build, network, and of course have fun! We will be focusing on upcoming competition events and preparing students to show off their business skills! Mrs. Reed, a former FBLA member, is the adviser at OJH and she is working hard to make this club a success this year!
Last year's FBLA Fun:
Last year Orion's FBLA club had lots of fun in our meetings each month, which always includes food! We went to the district invitational at Toads. There we learned about different things to do for the state competition. We also ate Jimmy Johns and got to play at Toads. Next we went to the state competition. Orion was represented very well! Everett Casey took 1st place in the "Digital Citizenship Test" Event! Way to go Everett! He went onto Nationals and represented the entire state. Camden Taggart also took 5th place in the "Digital Citizenship Test" Event!Abby Hao and Jersey Dandoy took 2nd place in the "Community Service Presentation". We represented our school and district very well!
We will have an open house October 6th if you would like to learn how you could join this awesome club! Join us in Mrs. Reed's room right after school. Our first business meeting will be October 20th.
